The United Arab Emirates and Kuwait are both Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states. UAE MoFA lists all UAE passport types, including normal passports, as visa-free for Kuwait. Travelers should use a passport valid for at least 6 months and carry a copy of the passport or ID, plus required documents and funds. The reviewed official Kuwait and UAE sources do not publish a fixed tourist-visit stay cap for UAE nationals, so this route should be described conservatively. If a UAE citizen intends to reside, work, study, or otherwise establish a longer local status in Kuwait, Kuwait Government Online provides a separate GCC-citizen registration process for those officially residing in Kuwait, including a 6-month passport-validity condition and at least 3 months' residence in Kuwait. The GCC Unified Tourist Visa project is still described by the GCC Secretariat as a project being developed for launch in the near future and is aimed at non-GCC tourism; it does not replace GCC citizens' existing visa-free movement.
