Do UAE passport holders need a visa to visit KG?
UAE ordinary passport holders do not need a visa for Kyrgyzstan. They can enter visa-free and stay for up to 90 days for tourism or short visits. United Arab Emirates ordinary (general civil) passport holders enjoy unilateral visa-free access to Kyrgyzstan. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, UAE citizens may enter and stay for up to 90 days without a visa, no advance application, eVisa, or invitation letter required. This is the most generous tier of Kyrgyzstan's visa-free regime, alongside Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, and reflects a 2024-2025 expansion of visa-free privileges for Gulf Cooperation Council nationals aimed at boosting tourism and investment. Note that some secondary sources (and the Dubai consulate page) still list 30 or 60 days; these reflect earlier policy. The official MFA figure of 90 days is current as of 2026. Entry is by land or air at any open border post; you simply present your passport at the immigration counter and receive an entry stamp. Your passport should be valid for the duration of stay (carry at least 6 months for safety) with at least two blank pages. The visa-free rule is tied to the UAE passport's nationality, not to UAE residency: foreign residents of the UAE holding non-Emirati passports must check their own nationality's rules and may need a Kyrgyzstan eVisa. There is no fee for visa-free entry.
