Do UAE passport holders need a visa to visit JO?

UAE ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for Jordan. As a Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) national, an Emirati can enter Jordan visa-free for tourism and short visits, getting an entry stamp on arrival with no fee. As citizens of a fellow Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member state, United Arab Emirates ordinary passport holders enjoy visa-free entry to Jordan. They may travel to Jordan without obtaining any visa in advance or on arrival, regardless of their country of residence, and simply receive an entry stamp at the port of entry. The exemption permits stays of up to 3 months within any 6-month period, which fully covers ordinary tourism, family visits, and short business trips. The only practical requirement is a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the planned stay with at least two blank pages, plus the usual proof of onward/return travel and means of support that border officers may request. Travelers planning to visit Petra and other heritage sites can optionally buy the Jordan Pass, but for GCC nationals this is a sightseeing convenience (prepaid site admissions), not a visa requirement, since no visa fee applies to them in the first place. Entry eligibility is tied to passport nationality, not UAE residency: only those holding the UAE (or another GCC) passport benefit from this waiver.
