Do UAE passport holders need a visa to visit GY?

UAE ordinary passport holders can travel to Guyana visa-free for tourism, for stays of up to 90 days. No visa or pre-arrival authorization is required. Holders of an ordinary United Arab Emirates passport do not need a visa to visit Guyana for tourism or short stays. Guyana grants UAE nationals visa-exempt entry for a period not exceeding 90 days, as confirmed by Guyana's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the published visa policy of Guyana. (Guyana initially introduced visa-on-arrival for UAE citizens on 28 May 2018; this has since been listed as outright visa exemption.) Travelers are admitted on arrival by an immigration officer with no advance application, fee, eVisa, or ETA. Standard conditions apply: a passport valid for at least 6 months, proof of onward or return travel, and evidence of sufficient funds and accommodation. The 90-day period is intended for genuine tourism, family visits, or short business meetings; it does not permit employment or long-term residence, which require a separate visa arranged through the Ministry of Home Affairs / Department of Immigration. There is no Schengen relationship here: Guyana is a South American (CARICOM) country and is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Because entry depends on the discretion of the immigration officer at the port of entry, travelers should carry supporting documents even though no visa is required.
