Do UAE passport holders need a visa to visit GE?

No visa required. United Arab Emirates ordinary passport holders may enter Georgia visa-free and stay for up to one full year (365 days) per entry. From January 1, 2026, all visitors must also carry valid travel health insurance covering the entire stay. Citizens of the United Arab Emirates holding an ordinary national passport enjoy one of Georgia's most generous visa-free regimes: they can enter, stay, work, and study without a visa for up to 365 days from the date of each entry, as confirmed by the Embassy of Georgia in the UAE. No visa, eVisa, or visa-on-arrival is needed for a tourist or short visit. Travelers simply present a valid passport at the border. The only new condition affecting all travelers regardless of nationality is Georgia's mandatory travel health insurance requirement, in force since January 1, 2026, which must cover the entire period of stay with a minimum coverage of GEL 30,000. Note: the separate, stricter 1-year-validity rule introduced in April 2025 applies only to certain foreign nationals entering on the strength of a UAE residence permit, not to Emirati passport holders themselves, who remain unconditionally visa-free.
