UAE ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa to visit Colombia. You receive a free entry permit (PIP) for up to 90 days on arrival for tourism, extendable up to a total of 180 days within the same calendar year. Citizens of the United Arab Emirates holding an ordinary passport are visa-exempt for short tourist visits to Colombia. On arrival, an immigration officer at the port of entry grants a Permiso de Ingreso y Permanencia (PIP) of up to 90 days. This can be extended once through Migración Colombia for an additional period, but total stay as a tourist may not exceed 180 days within a single calendar year. No visa, eVisa or visa-on-arrival fee applies for this short stay. Travelers should carry a passport valid for the duration of stay, proof of onward or return travel, and evidence of sufficient funds. Colombia is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Check-Mig is a free, non-mandatory online pre-registration suggested by Migración Colombia to speed entry/exit processing; it can be completed from 72 hours before travel until one hour before travel.
