In practice, Andorrans typically cross directly into Spain over the shared land border (Andorra is landlocked between Spain and France and is reachable only through the Schengen area). Andorra is among the countries explicitly exempt from the European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS), and EU EES guidance also says EES does not apply to nationals of Andorra. Travellers should carry an Andorran passport issued within the previous 10 years and valid for at least three months after the planned departure from the Schengen Area, observe the 90/180 day limit, and be prepared to show proof of accommodation, funds and onward travel if requested. There is no visa fee for this route.
