Andorran ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa to visit Austria for tourism. Austria lists Andorra among nationalities that do not need a visa for stays up to 90 days, and EU Regulation 2018/1806 lists Andorra in Annex II. Andorrans are also exempt from ETIAS and from Entry/Exit System (EES) registration. Austria is a member of the Schengen Area. Austria's foreign ministry lists Andorra among countries whose citizens do not need a visa for Austria if the stay does not exceed 90 days and is for tourist purposes, and EU Regulation 2018/1806 lists Andorra in Annex II for visa-exempt stays of no more than 90 days in any 180-day period. The 90/180 allowance is counted cumulatively across the Schengen Area for tourism, business, family visits, or transit. No visa, eVisa, or entry fee applies. ETIAS is expected to apply from the last quarter of 2026 for many visa-exempt travelers, but EUR-Lex's ETIAS summary lists nationals of Andorra among those who do not need an ETIAS travel authorisation. Austria's Entry/Exit System (EES) began at airports on 12 October 2025 and reached full operation on 10 April 2026, but Austria's interior ministry FAQ states that holders of passports issued by Andorra are not registered in the EES. Travelers must still carry a valid passport, meet general entry conditions (purpose of stay, sufficient funds, return/onward travel, travel health insurance is advisable), and respect the Schengen 90/180 limit. Overstaying or working without authorization is not permitted under this visa-free channel.
