Taiwan ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourist trips to Vanuatu. Taiwan is on Vanuatu's visa-exempt list and travelers receive a visa-free entry stamp on arrival, typically valid for 30 days. A Taiwan (ROC) ordinary passport holder can travel to Vanuatu for tourism visa-free. Taiwan appears on the Vanuatu Department of Immigration and Passport Services' list of visa-exempted countries, so no advance visa or eVisa is required and no fee is charged. On arrival, an immigration officer issues a free entry stamp commonly granting up to 30 days for tourism (Vanuatu's broader tourist-visit framework permits stays of up to 120 days for tourism/family/business, but the standard on-arrival exemption stamp is generally issued for 30 days and is extendable through the immigration office). To qualify, the passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the intended stay, and travelers should carry proof of onward/return travel and sufficient funds. Vanuatu is a Pacific island nation and is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
