Taiwan (Chinese Taipei) to Türkiye visa requirements

Taiwan ordinary passport holders need a Türkiye e-Visa before travel. Taiwan BOCA says the government e-Visa fee is waived for Taiwanese nationals; apply only through evisa.gov.tr and verify the current entry/validity terms shown in the official application. Holders of an ordinary Taiwan (ROC) passport are not visa-free for Türkiye/Turkey. Türkiye's Ministry of Foreign Affairs says Taiwan ordinary and official passport holders require a visa, and ordinary passport holders may obtain an e-Visa through www.evisa.gov.tr if they meet the stated conditions. Taiwan BOCA's live Türkiye country page (source last updated 2022-06-21; checked 2026-06-29) says Taiwanese nationals have enjoyed fee-free Türkiye e-Visas since 10 February 2016 and that ordinary passport holders can apply online in advance with a passport valid for at least six months and at least 60 days beyond the permitted stay. BOCA describes the current e-Visa as multiple-entry within six months, with each stay limited to 30 days; it also notes that total stay under one e-Visa/application number must not exceed 30 days and total e-Visa stays within any 180-day period must not exceed 90 days. Türkiye MFA's country list still describes a single-entry e-Visa valid for one month, so travelers should treat the terms displayed by the official e-Visa application at the time of application as controlling. The official e-Visa site states that the e-Visa is for tourism and trade only, that nationality-specific eligibility/fee information is shown in the Apply flow, and that unofficial helper sites are not endorsed by the Turkish government.
