Taiwan (Chinese Taipei) to eSwatini visa requirements

No visa needed. Taiwan ordinary passport holders can enter eSwatini visa-free for up to 90 days for tourism. Taiwan (ROC) ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa to visit the Kingdom of eSwatini for tourism or short visits. eSwatini is one of Taiwan's formal diplomatic allies, and as a result Taiwan enjoys an unusually generous visa exemption: up to 90 days per entry, the longest of any nationality (most other countries get only 30 days). This is confirmed by the eSwatini Embassy in Taipei, which states explicitly that "all Taiwan passport holders do not require a visa when travelling to the Kingdom of Eswatini (VISA FREE)" for business, tourism, or seminars. Travelers simply present a valid passport at the port of entry (Matsapha/King Mswati III International Airport, or land borders shared with South Africa and Mozambique) and receive an entry stamp. Carry proof of onward/return travel and accommodation, and ideally evidence of sufficient funds, as immigration officers may ask. Passport should be valid for at least the duration of stay (a 6-month buffer beyond departure is the safe norm). Note that since eSwatini is landlocked and almost all travelers transit through South Africa, you must also satisfy South African transit/entry rules - Taiwan passport holders need to check South Africa's requirements separately, as a South African visa or transit permit may be required depending on routing. eSwatini is not in the Schengen area; the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply here.
