Taiwan (Chinese Taipei) to Serbia visa requirements

Taiwan ordinary passport holders need a visa to visit Serbia. Taiwan is explicitly excluded from Serbia's visa-free list, so a short-stay Type C visa must be obtained in advance, either online through the Welcome to Serbia eVisa portal or at a Serbian embassy/consulate. Important exception: if you already hold a valid Schengen, UK, EU member state, or US visa or residence permit, you may enter Serbia visa-free for up to 90 days. Serbia is not in the Schengen Area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply here. Serbia maintains its own visa policy. Applications may also be lodged in person at a Serbian diplomatic-consular mission (the Embassy in Tokyo, Japan handles Taiwan), where the visa can be issued the same day. The Type C visa permits stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period and the standard fee is EUR 90 (payable in Serbian dinars at the National Bank middle rate). A key visa-free workaround: holders of a valid Schengen, UK, EU member state, or US visa/residence permit may transit and stay in Serbia for up to 90 days within 180 without a Serbian visa. Travelers should carry proof of accommodation/itinerary, travel medical insurance, sufficient funds, and a passport valid at least 90 days beyond the intended departure with two blank pages.
