🇹🇼Taiwan (Chinese Taipei)🇵🇾ParaguayTW-PY Taiwan (Chinese Taipei) to Paraguay visa requirements
Taiwan (ROC) ordinary passport holders can enter Paraguay visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days. No visa, eVisa, or visa-on-arrival is required. Taiwan and Paraguay maintain full diplomatic relations, and Paraguay grants Republic of China (Taiwan) ordinary passport holders visa-free entry for short stays of up to 90 days. This reciprocal visa-waiver arrangement has been in effect since July 12, 2017 (commemorating the 60th anniversary of bilateral ties), and was formalized into a signed reciprocal visa-free agreement in December 2024, confirmed by Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA). For tourism or short visits, no visa needs to be obtained in advance and no fee is charged. Travelers should carry a passport valid for at least six months, hold a confirmed return or onward ticket, and be prepared to show proof of sufficient funds and accommodation at the immigration counter in Asunción (Silvio Pettirossi International Airport). The 90-day allowance is per entry; stays beyond 90 days require an appropriate visa or extension obtained from Paraguay's Directorate General of Migration. Paraguay is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
