Taiwan (Chinese Taipei) to Malaysia visa requirements

Taiwan ordinary passport holders can enter Malaysia visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism or short business visits. No visa is needed, but you must complete the free Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) online within 3 days before arrival. Holders of an ordinary Taiwan (ROC) passport do not need a visa to visit Malaysia for tourism or short business. The visa exemption allows a stay of up to 30 days per entry and is not extendable. The only mandatory online step is the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC), a free declaration that every foreign visitor must submit within 3 days before arrival; completing it also enables autogate use at major airports. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months on arrival, and immigration may ask for proof of onward/return travel, accommodation and sufficient funds. The 30-day period runs continuously from the date of entry and cannot be converted to another visa type; leaving and re-entering restarts the count. Note that Sabah and Sarawak run their own immigration controls, though the same visa-free policy applies. There is no visa fee for this route; the only thing to file is the free MDAC.
