Do Taiwan passport holders need a visa to visit Malaysia?

Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months on arrival, and immigration may ask for proof of onward/return travel, accommodation and sufficient funds. The 30-day period runs continuously from the date of entry and cannot be converted to another visa type; leaving and re-entering restarts the count. Note that Sabah and Sarawak run their own immigration controls, though the same visa-free policy applies. There is no visa fee for this route; the only thing to file is the free MDAC.
