Taiwan (Chinese Taipei) to Jordan visa requirements

Taiwan ordinary passport holders need a visa for Jordan, but it is easy to obtain. The simplest route for a short tourist trip is a Visa on Arrival (40 JOD, 30 days, single entry) at Queen Alia International Airport and major land borders. You can also apply for an eVisa in advance, or buy a Jordan Pass online before travel, which waives the visa fee if you stay at least 3 nights (2+ consecutive nights). Jordan is not visa-free for Taiwan (ROC) ordinary passport holders, but a visa is straightforward to obtain. Taiwanese travelers can get a Visa on Arrival for 40 JOD, valid for a single entry and a stay of up to 30 days, at Queen Alia International Airport (Amman), Aqaba (King Hussein International Airport), and most major land crossings such as the Sheikh Hussein Bridge and Wadi Araba/Yitzhak Rabin crossing. Note that the Visa on Arrival is generally NOT issued at the King Hussein/Allenby Bridge from the West Bank, so travelers entering there need a visa in advance. Jordan also runs an official eVisa system through the Ministry of Interior (eservices.moi.gov.jo, launched March 2023) that lets eligible nationalities apply online before travel; processing typically takes a few business days. The most cost-effective option for genuine sightseeing is the Jordan Pass, purchased online before arrival: it bundles the entry visa fee with admission to 40+ attractions including Petra, Jerash and Wadi Rum, and waives the visa fee provided you stay at least 3 nights in Jordan. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months beyond entry with at least two blank pages. Verdict: visa required, best handled as Visa on Arrival (or eVisa / Jordan Pass) for a short tourist stay.
