Do Taiwan passport holders need a visa to visit Indonesia?
Taiwan ordinary passport holders are NOT visa-free for Indonesia. You can get a Visa on Arrival (VOA), or apply for the e-VOA online before departure: IDR 500,000, 30 days, extendable once for another 30 days. Taiwan (ROC) ordinary passport holders are not on Indonesia's visa-exemption list, but Taiwan is eligible for Indonesia's Visa on Arrival (VOA). You can obtain it on arrival at designated airports/seaports/land posts, or, more conveniently, apply for the Electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) online via the official Imigrasi eVisa portal before you fly. The fee is IDR 500,000, granting a 30-day stay (single entry) that can be extended once at an Indonesian immigration office for another 30 days (max 60 days total). Your passport must be valid at least 6 months from arrival. If you are heading to Bali, you must also pay the separate Bali Tourist Levy of IDR 150,000 via the Love Bali platform.
