🇹🇼Taiwan (Chinese Taipei)🇭🇳HondurasTW-HN Taiwan (Chinese Taipei) to Honduras visa requirements
Taiwan ordinary passport holders can enter Honduras visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days. No visa or eVisa is required before travel. A Taiwan (Republic of China) ordinary passport holder does NOT need a visa to visit Honduras for tourism. Honduras lists Taiwan among its visa-exempt jurisdictions, granting visitors a stay of up to 90 days, which is confirmed by both the Honduran visa-policy listing and Taiwan's own consular references. Although Honduras formally switched diplomatic recognition from Taipei to Beijing in March 2023, the visa-exemption for Taiwanese tourists has remained in effect and is still reported by authoritative aggregators as of mid-2026. Two practical points matter most. First, Honduras is part of the Central America-4 (CA-4) Border Control Agreement with Guatemala, El Salvador and Nicaragua: the 90-day clock is shared across all four countries and does NOT reset by hopping between their borders. Second, while Honduras technically requires only about three months of passport validity, the U.S. Embassy and other authorities recommend at least six months' validity plus two blank pages to avoid problems. Travelers simply present a valid passport, proof of onward/return travel and sufficient funds at the port of entry; an entry stamp (and at some land borders a small tourist-card fee) is issued on arrival. Because the visa-exemption rests on Honduran policy rather than a bilateral treaty (the diplomatic relationship is now with the PRC), travelers should re-confirm status close to departure, but the verdict for a short tourist stay is firmly visa-free.
