🇹🇷Türkiye🇿🇦South AfricaTR-ZA Türkiye to South Africa visa requirements
No visa needed. Turkish ordinary passport holders can visit South Africa visa-free for holiday/tourism for up to 30 days. Türkiye (TR) ordinary passport holders are visa-exempt for short holiday/tourism visits to South Africa. The Department of Home Affairs exempt-countries list shows Turkey (Republic of) ordinary passports with a 30-day exemption, and the South African Embassy in Ankara states that Turkish citizens are exempt from visas for 30 days for holiday purposes. No prior visa, eVisa, ETA, or visa-on-arrival application is required for this visa-free route; entry is decided at the port of entry and recorded with a visitor's entry stamp. Travelers should hold a passport valid for at least 30 days after the intended visit/return date, with at least one blank page for endorsements, plus return/onward travel, accommodation details, sufficient funds, and a yellow fever certificate if arriving from or transiting through a yellow-fever-risk country. A visa is required before travel for stays over 30 days, non-holiday purposes, paid work, or if an individual visa exemption has been withdrawn. South Africa's ETA rollout is for visa-required nationalities, initially China, India, Indonesia, and Mexico, so it does not currently replace this Turkish passport visa exemption.
