Türkiye to Yemen visa requirements

A Turkish ordinary passport holder needs a visa to enter Yemen. Turkey is not on Yemen's visa-free or visa-on-arrival lists, and Yemen's eVisa (launched June 2025) is limited to organized tour groups; individual tourists must apply in advance at a Yemeni embassy or consulate. Yemen requires Turkish ordinary passport holders to obtain a visa before travel. Only Hong Kong SAR passports enter visa-free, and visa-on-arrival is reserved for a short list of mainly Arab/regional states (Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, UAE). While Turkish holders of diplomatic, official, service or special passports can get a 1-month visa on arrival, this does NOT extend to ordinary passports. Yemen introduced an eVisa on 24 June 2025, but it is currently restricted to tourist-group applications submitted by accredited travel agencies (minimum ten members) and still requires collecting a sticker visa from a Yemeni mission, so it is not a route for individual tourists. The practical channel is an in-person application at a Yemeni embassy or consulate (e.g., the Embassy of Yemen in Ankara) with a completed form, photos, itinerary, often an invitation/sponsorship letter, and in many cases a medical certificate confirming freedom from infectious diseases. Passports must be valid at least six months. Note: this is a travel-logistics assessment only; Yemen is the subject of severe travel advisories (active armed conflict, terrorism, kidnapping), and most governments strongly advise against all travel.
