Türkiye to Uganda visa requirements

Turkish ordinary passport holders need a visa for Uganda and must apply for a Uganda eVisa online before travelling. Turkey is not on Uganda's visa-exempt list, and there is no visa-on-arrival for general tourists. The single-entry tourist eVisa costs USD 50, allows a stay of up to 90 days, and a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate is mandatory for entry. As of 30 May 2026, a Turkey (TR) ordinary passport holder travelling to Uganda for tourism or a short visit must obtain a visa in advance via Uganda's official electronic visa system. Turkey is not among the roughly 40 nationalities that Uganda exempts from visas (the exempt list is dominated by East African Community members, Commonwealth Caribbean states, and a small set of others such as the UAE, Singapore, Malaysia, Cyprus and Malta; EU/US and Turkey are excluded). All visas are issued online through the official portal visas.immigration.go.ug. The standard tourist visa is single-entry, valid for entry within 90 days of approval, and permits a stay of up to 90 days. The official fee is USD 50 plus a small (~3%) bank/processing surcharge; travellers should beware of third-party sites charging USD 100-200. Processing normally takes 2-3 working days. A WHO yellow fever vaccination certificate is compulsory for all travellers entering Uganda and is checked at the border. Travellers visiting more than one East African country can alternatively buy the East African Tourist Visa (EATV) for USD 100, which is multiple-entry and valid across Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda for 90 days. Uganda is not in the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply.
