🇹🇷Türkiye🇹🇼Taiwan (Chinese Taipei)TR-TW Türkiye to Taiwan (Chinese Taipei) visa requirements
Turkish ordinary passport holders need a Taiwan eVisa before travel for tourism or other short visits. The eVisa is free for Türkiye, single-entry, and allows a stay of up to 30 days. A Türkiye ordinary passport holder cannot enter Taiwan visa-free because Türkiye is not listed in BOCA's visa-exempt-entry countries. BOCA lists Türkiye among eVisa-eligible nationalities and states that, for Türkiye, only ordinary and special passport holders are eligible. The eVisa is issued free of charge to Türkiye nationals, is single-entry, is valid for three months from the issue date, and allows a maximum stay of 30 days that cannot be extended or converted to another visa type. The eVisa covers tourism, business, visiting relatives, and attending international conferences or sporting events; employment, study, residence with family, or Mandarin-language study requires an appropriate visa from an ROC overseas mission. Apply through the official BOCA eVisa portal, and BOCA's eVisa Q&A recommends applying at least seven days before travel. Once approved, print the eVisa and complete the free Taiwan Arrival Card (TWAC) online before immigration clearance. Note the Ankara office's narrow exception: Turkish passport holders born in China who are traveling to Taiwan for the first time are not eligible for the eVisa and must apply in person at the office.
