Türkiye to Timor-Leste visa requirements

Turkish ordinary passport holders need a visa for Timor-Leste, but can obtain a visa on arrival (VOA) at Dili's Presidente Nicolau Lobato International Airport or the Dili Sea Port for US$30, valid for a 30-day single-entry tourist stay. Timor-Leste is not in the Schengen area and has no visa-waiver agreement with Turkey, so Turkey is not on Timor-Leste's visa-exempt list. However, Timor-Leste operates a Visa on Arrival (VOA) scheme open to most nationalities, including Turkey, at its two designated international entry points: Presidente Nicolau Lobato International Airport (Dili) and the Dili Sea Port. The Class I (tourist) visa on arrival costs US$30, is granted for a single entry, and permits a stay of up to 30 days, which may be extended once in-country for a further period (extension US$40, paid to the Immigration Service), up to a cumulative maximum of around 90 days. The fee must normally be paid in US dollars cash. There is no formal eVisa portal; travelers arriving at points OTHER than the Dili airport or sea port (e.g. the overland border from Indonesian West Timor) cannot get a VOA and must instead obtain a prior Visa Application Authorization from the Immigration Service before travel. Required at the border: passport valid at least 6 months with blank pages, return/onward ticket, proof of sufficient funds, and accommodation details.
