Türkiye to Suriname visa requirements

Turkish ordinary passport holders cannot enter Suriname without prior authorization, but they do not need a traditional consular visa. Turkey is on Suriname's eligible list for the online e-Tourist Card, which must be obtained and paid for before travel. A Turkey (TR) ordinary passport holder travelling to Suriname for tourism needs a Suriname e-Tourist Card, an electronic pre-authorization applied for online before departure. Turkey is explicitly listed among the roughly 51 nationalities eligible for the Tourist Card by Suriname's authorities and the EU (EEAS), so Turkish tourists are not in the smaller group (about 21 countries such as Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Nigeria, South Africa) that must obtain a full e-Visa/consular visa. The card is single-entry, permits a stay of up to 90 days, and is strictly for tourism or family visits — business, work, study or volunteering require a separate visa. Applications are submitted through the official VFS Global portal (suriname.vfsevisa.com); standard processing is roughly 24–72 business hours, so applying at least a week before travel is advised. The standard single-entry Tourist Card fee is about USD 25 (a one-year multiple-entry card is about USD 54), payable online by card. Suriname is in South America and is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply here. Travellers also need a passport valid at least 6 months with a blank page, a confirmed return/onward ticket, and proof of accommodation; a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required if arriving from or transiting a country with risk of yellow fever transmission.
