Türkiye to Sierra Leone visa requirements

Turkish ordinary passport holders need a visa for Sierra Leone. The recommended route is the official eVisa (USD 80, single entry, up to 30 days), obtained online before travel. A visa on arrival (USD 80 for non-African Union nationals) is also available at main entry points, but the eVisa is the safer choice. Sierra Leone is not visa-free for Turkey (TR) ordinary passport holders. Turkey is not on Sierra Leone's visa-exempt list (which is mostly limited to ECOWAS/African Union and a handful of partner states). However, Turkey was included in Sierra Leone's September 2019 visa-on-arrival expansion, so Turkish travelers have two practical channels: (1) the official online eVisa via evisa.sl, and (2) a visa on arrival at designated ports of entry. Both carry a USD 80 fee for non-African Union nationals, grant a single entry, and permit a stay of up to 30 days (extendable once in-country at the Immigration Department). The eVisa is recommended because it removes the risk of being turned away at the border, confirms approval before boarding, and is increasingly expected by airlines. All travelers must carry a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate (mandatory) and a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond arrival with a blank page. Sierra Leone is in West Africa and is not part of the Schengen area, so Schengen/ETIAS rules do not apply.
