Türkiye to Solomon Islands visa requirements

Turkish ordinary passport holders need a visa for the Solomon Islands. Turkey is not on the visa-exempt or free visitor-permit list, so you must obtain a visitor (tourist) visa before you travel - apply online via the Solomon Islands Immigration Division eVisa channel, or arrange a pre-approved visa that can be collected/granted on arrival. As of 2026, the Solomon Islands does not grant visa-free entry or a free visitor permit on arrival to Turkish citizens. The free visitor-permit-on-arrival channel applies mainly to EU/EEA states, the UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and a list of specifically exempt countries; Turkey is not among them. Turkish travelers must hold a pre-arranged visa approval to enter, which in practice means lodging a visitor (tourist) visa application with the Solomon Islands Immigration Division before departure. The Immigration Division operates an online (eVisa) application system, though online payment is still being rolled out and some applications are finalized in person in Honiara or via a Solomon Islands diplomatic mission. The tourist visa typically permits a stay of up to 30 days on arrival, extendable, with an overall limit of three months in any 12-month period. Standard requirements include a passport valid at least six months, a return/onward ticket, and proof of sufficient funds. Because no automatic no-visa channel exists for Turkish nationals, travelers should secure approval well before booking non-refundable travel.
