Türkiye to Saudi Arabia visa requirements

Turkish ordinary passport holders need a visa for Saudi Arabia, but can obtain it easily online via the official Saudi eVisa portal (Turkey was added to the eVisa program in 2023). Visa on arrival at major airports is also available as a fallback. No visa-free entry. A Turkey (TR) ordinary passport holder traveling to Saudi Arabia (SA) for tourism requires a visa, but qualifies for the streamlined Saudi tourist eVisa. Turkey is one of the 60-plus eligible nationalities (added to the eVisa scheme in October 2023). The eVisa is applied for entirely online at the official Visit Saudi portal, with no embassy visit required, and is normally approved within a few business days. It is a one-year, multiple-entry visa permitting stays of up to 90 days per visit. The total online fee is approximately SAR 535 (about USD 142), which bundles the government visa fee, mandatory medical insurance, and a small platform processing charge. Eligible travelers may alternatively obtain a visa on arrival (VOA) at major Saudi airports for roughly SAR 480, though applying for the eVisa in advance is recommended for smoother entry. Saudi Arabia is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. The same eVisa also covers Umrah and selected business/event visits, but a separate channel applies to the Hajj pilgrimage. Travelers should hold a passport valid at least six months beyond entry.
