🇹🇷Türkiye🇷🇺Russian FederationTR-RU Türkiye to Russian Federation visa requirements
Turkish ordinary passport holders need a visa for Russia, but can use the Russian unified e-visa: a fully online single-entry visa allowing tourism stays of up to 30 days, valid 120 days from issue, costing USD 52, processed within 4 calendar days. A Turkey (TR) ordinary passport holder cannot enter Russia visa-free for tourism. Only Turkish diplomatic passport holders (up to 90 days) and service passport holders (up to 30 days) enjoy visa-free access; ordinary passport holders require a visa. The simplest and recommended route is the Russian unified e-visa, for which Turkey is one of the approximately 64 eligible nationalities on the government-approved list. The unified e-visa is single-entry, permits a maximum stay of 30 days from the date of entry, and remains valid for 120 days from the date of issue (validity was extended from 60 to 120 days and maximum stay from 16 to 30 days under recent reforms). The consular fee is USD 52 for adults (children under 6 are exempt), and applications are processed in no more than 4 calendar days. Applications are submitted entirely online at the official portal evisa.kdmid.ru, no later than 4 days and no earlier than 86/90 days before travel, with no invitation letter, hotel booking, or consulate visit required. Travelers must enter and exit through designated airports, seaports, and authorized land checkpoints. The e-visa covers tourism, business, cultural, scientific, sporting and humanitarian visits. For stays longer than 30 days, multiple entries, or entry through non-designated points, a regular visa from a Russian consulate or visa center is required. Russia is not part of the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 rules and ETIAS do not apply.
