Türkiye to Paraguay visa requirements

Turkish ordinary passport holders can enter Paraguay visa-free for tourism and stay up to 90 days. No advance visa, eVisa, or visa-on-arrival is required, thanks to a bilateral visa-waiver agreement in force since January 2008. As of 2026, holders of an ordinary Turkish passport do NOT need a visa to enter Paraguay for tourism or short visits. Paraguay grants Turkey visa-free entry for stays of up to 90 days, under a mutual visa-exemption agreement that entered into force on 13 January 2008. The traveler simply arrives at a Paraguayan port of entry (most commonly Silvio Pettirossi International Airport in Asuncion) with a passport valid for at least six months, proof of onward/return travel, and evidence of sufficient funds, and receives an entry stamp. Note that the well-publicized US$160 fee-based visa-on-arrival in Paraguay applies only to a small group of nationalities (such as the United States) on a reciprocity basis and does NOT apply to Turkish citizens, who enter free of charge. The 90-day stay can usually be extended for a further 90 days by applying to the Direccion General de Migraciones before the initial period expires. Land-border crossings can be stricter than air arrival, so carrying full supporting documents is advisable. Paraguay is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
