Türkiye to Poland visa requirements

Turkish ordinary passport holders need a Schengen short-stay (Type C) visa before traveling to Poland. There is no visa-free, visa-on-arrival, or eVisa option. Apply through VFS Global in Turkey on behalf of the Polish consulate. Poland is a full member of the Schengen Area, and Turkey is not on the EU visa-exemption list. As a result, holders of an ordinary Turkish passport must obtain a Schengen Type C (short-stay) visa before traveling to Poland for tourism. The visa permits stays of up to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period across the entire Schengen Area. The standard adult visa fee is EUR 90, plus a VFS Global service fee, and consulates are legally required to decide within 15 calendar days (extendable to 45 days in some cases). On 15 July 2025 the EU introduced a more favorable "cascade" regime for Turkish applicants resident in Turkey: bona fide travelers with a clean travel history can progressively receive multiple-entry visas valid for 1, 3, and up to 5 years. This makes longer-validity visas easier to obtain but does NOT remove the requirement to hold a visa. ETIAS does not apply to Turkish nationals because ETIAS is only for visa-exempt travelers; Turks need an actual visa. The conservative and correct verdict is visa-required.
