Türkiye to Oman visa requirements

Turkish ordinary passport holders can enter Oman visa-free for tourism. Under the mutual visa exemption that took effect on 1 November 2025, no prior visa or eVisa is required. As of mid-2026, holders of an ordinary Turkish (TR) passport do NOT need a visa to visit Oman (OM) for tourism or short visits. This follows the reciprocal visa exemption agreement between Oman and Türkiye for ordinary passport holders, which came into effect on 1 November 2025 (officially announced by Oman's Ministry of Foreign Affairs in December 2025). Turkish citizens may enter without any prior visa, eVisa, or visa-on-arrival, and stay for up to 30 consecutive days per visit, not exceeding a total of 90 days within any 180-day period. At immigration, travelers should hold a passport valid for at least six months from the date of entry, and may be asked to show a return or onward ticket, proof of accommodation, sufficient funds, and travel/health insurance. The exemption covers tourism and short visits only; paid work, study, and long-term residence still require the appropriate visa or permit obtained in advance. Because this is a recent change, some older guides and the legacy Oman eVisa portal may still list Turkey as requiring an eVisa; the current authoritative position from Oman's Foreign Ministry confirms visa-free entry.
