🇹🇷TÜRKIYE🇳🇿NEW ZEALANDTR-NZ Do Türkiye passport holders need a visa to visit New Zealand?
Turkish ordinary passport holders need a Visitor Visa before traveling to New Zealand. Turkey is not on the NZ visa-waiver list, so the NZeTA is not an option. Türkiye is not a New Zealand visa-waiver country, so Turkish ordinary passport holders cannot use the NZeTA. To visit for tourism you must apply for and be granted a Visitor Visa from Immigration New Zealand (INZ) before you travel — there is no visa on arrival. Most tourist applications are submitted online; some applicants may be asked to lodge a paper application or supply biometrics through the relevant visa office. The base Visitor Visa fee starts from NZD 441, plus the NZD 100 International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL), which Turkish travelers must pay. A Visitor Visa allows a stay of up to 9 months within an 18-month period (tourist grants are commonly shorter, e.g. 3 months) and may be issued single- or multiple-entry at INZ's discretion. Approval is never guaranteed; you must show genuine intent to visit temporarily, sufficient funds, onward/return travel and a passport valid for at least 3 months beyond your planned departure (6 months recommended).

For guidance only — visa rules change with little notice. Always confirm directly with the destination's embassy or foreign ministry before booking non-refundable travel. Information here applies to ordinary (non-diplomatic) passports unless noted.
