Türkiye to Morocco visa requirements

Turkish ordinary passport holders can travel to Morocco visa-free for tourism and short visits of up to 90 days. No visa or e-Visa is required, and the AEVM electronic travel authorization does not apply to Turkish nationals. Turkey and Morocco have a long-standing bilateral visa-exemption agreement (in force since 21 April 1989) under which holders of ordinary Turkish passports may enter Morocco without a visa for stays of up to 90 days for tourism or business. There is no fee, no application, and no pre-travel authorization to obtain. Morocco's AEVM (Autorisation Electronique de Voyage au Maroc) electronic travel authorization — introduced for certain visa-exempt nationalities — does NOT apply to Turkish citizens; as of June 2026 it is limited to a short list of nationalities (such as the Republic of Congo, Ecuador, Ghana and Guinea). Travelers must still hold a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry, with at least one blank page, and should carry proof of onward/return travel and accommodation, as these may be checked at the border. Stays beyond 90 days require a residence permit obtained from the local authorities (and overstaying triggers fines). Morocco is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS are irrelevant to this route.
