🇹🇷Türkiye🇰🇿KazakhstanTR-KZ Türkiye to Kazakhstan visa requirements
No visa needed. Turkish ordinary passport holders can enter Kazakhstan visa-free for up to 30 days per visit (capped at 90 days within any 180-day period) for tourism. Turkey (TR) ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist visits to Kazakhstan (KZ). They may enter visa-free on a valid passport and stay up to 30 calendar days per visit. Following an expansion that took effect in 2025, the total stay is now capped at 90 calendar days within any rolling 180-day period (and no more than 120 days within a single calendar year). Kazakhstan is NOT in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply here — Kazakhstan operates its own independent migration system. No eVisa, visa-on-arrival, or ETA is required for this short-stay tourist scenario. Travelers must carry a passport valid for the duration of stay and should be aware of the host-party registration obligation: hotels register guests automatically, while private hosts must notify the migration service (via the eQonaq portal or local office) within 3 working days of arrival. If staying longer than 30 days per visit or for purposes other than tourism (work, study), a visa or temporary residence permit is required.
