Türkiye to Kuwait visa requirements

Turkish ordinary passport holders need a visa for Kuwait, but Turkey is on Kuwait's eligible list, so you can apply online for a Kuwait eVisa before travel (and a visa on arrival is also available when arriving by air). The eVisa is the recommended route. A Turkey (TR) ordinary passport holder cannot enter Kuwait visa-free. However, Turkey is one of the roughly 53 nationalities Kuwait permits to obtain a tourist visa via its online eVisa system or as a visa on arrival when arriving by air. The recommended and most reliable channel is the official Kuwait Ministry of Interior eVisa portal (kuwaitvisa.moi.gov.kw), which issues a tourist visa with a base government fee of about KWD 3 and a typical decision within 1-3 business days. Since 23 December 2025, applicants must also show proof of mandatory health insurance, and additional residency/insurance charges apply for the duration of stay. The single-entry tourist eVisa is generally valid for 90 days from issue and allows a stay of up to 30 days (extendable in some cases); multiple-entry one-year options exist for frequent travelers. A passport valid at least 6 months with two blank pages is required. Visa on arrival by air remains an alternative, but securing the eVisa in advance avoids airport queues and the risk of refusal at the counter. Kuwait is not in the Schengen area, so the 90/180 Schengen rule and ETIAS do not apply.
