Türkiye to India visa requirements
Türkiye ordinary passport holders need a visa for India. Turkey is NOT on India's e-Visa eligible list, so you must apply for a regular (sticker) tourist visa at the Consulate General of India in Istanbul (or Embassy in Ankara) before travel. A Turkish ordinary passport holder cannot enter India visa-free and cannot use the India e-Visa, because Turkey does not appear on India's official e-Visa eligible-country list or the official country-wise e-Tourist Visa fee schedule. India also limits visa-on-arrival to Japan, South Korea and qualifying UAE nationals, not Turkish nationals. Turkish nationals therefore need a regular paper/sticker tourist visa before travel, using the regular Indian visa application at indianvisaonline.gov.in and then submitting the printed form, passport, photo and supporting documents in person to the Indian mission with jurisdiction in Türkiye. The Consulate General of India in Istanbul lists the tourist visa fee as USD 103, payable in cash in US dollars, and says visa applications normally take 1-2 working days after all required documents are submitted, though applicants are advised to apply 20-30 days before travel and individual cases may take longer. The consulate decides the visa duration, number of entries and validity. The passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the intended departure from India and have two blank pages. Non-residents of Türkiye are not eligible to apply through the Istanbul consulate.
