Türkiye to Guyana visa requirements

Turkish ordinary passport holders need a visa for Guyana. The practical route is a visa on arrival, but it requires an approval letter obtained in advance from Guyana's Ministry of Home Affairs through the online iss.gov.gy eServices portal before you fly. A Turkey (TR) ordinary passport holder cannot enter Guyana visa-free; a visa is required. Guyana has no embassy or consulate in Turkey, so the standard pathway is the "permission to land" / visa on arrival. Crucially, this is not a turn-up-and-pay arrangement: the traveller must first apply online through Guyana's Immigration Support Services portal (eservices.iss.gov.gy) and obtain an approval letter (also called a Letter Requesting Visa on Arrival, approved by the Ministry of Home Affairs) before departure. With that approval letter, the visa is issued and the fee is paid on arrival at Cheddi Jagan International Airport, normally for a stay of up to 30 days, extendable in-country. Processing of the online approval takes roughly 10-14 working days, so apply well ahead. Holders of Turkish diplomatic, service and special passports are visa-exempt, but this guide covers ordinary passports only. Guyana is in South America and is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. As always, verify directly with Guyana Immigration before booking, as fees and procedures can change.
