Türkiye to Gabon visa requirements
Turkish ordinary passport holders need a visa for Gabon and should obtain an e-Visa online before travel via the official DGDI portal (evisa.dgdi.ga). There is no visa-free entry and no genuine visa-on-arrival channel. A Turkey (TR) ordinary passport holder traveling to Gabon (GA) for tourism is visa-required and must obtain a Gabon e-Visa before departure. Gabon does not grant visa-free entry to Turkish citizens, and it does not offer a standalone visa-on-arrival without prior online approval. Applications are submitted through the official Directorate General of Documentation and Immigration (DGDI) portal at evisa.dgdi.ga, which currently covers air arrivals via Léon-Mba International Airport in Libreville. Applicants upload a passport bio-page scan (valid at least six months) and a recent color photo, and complete the online form. Standard single-entry tourist/business e-Visas cost 70 EUR (around 45,000 XAF) plus a 15 EUR file-processing fee, valid 1 to 3 months; a 6-month multiple-entry option costs about 185 EUR. Historically the visa fee was collected in cash on arrival when the sticker was issued, but Gabon began rolling out fully digital online payment from late 2025, moving toward complete pre-departure processing. Approval is typically issued within 48 to 72 hours. Gabon ran a free tourist e-Visa promotion between 1 July and 30 September 2025; outside such promotional windows the standard fees apply. Travelers should apply well in advance through the official portal only and avoid unofficial third-party agents that add markups.
