Türkiye to Ethiopia visa requirements
Turkish ordinary passport holders need a visa for Ethiopia. The recommended option is the online eVisa (tourist), which all nationalities are eligible for. Apply at evisa.gov.et before travel and enter via Addis Ababa Bole International Airport. Ethiopia is not visa-free for Turkish citizens. Ethiopia does not belong to any visa-waiver scheme with Turkey, so an ordinary Turkish passport holder must obtain a visa before or upon arrival. The simplest and officially recommended route is the Ethiopian electronic visa (eVisa), open to citizens of every country. The standard product for short tourism is the 30-day single-entry tourist eVisa, processed online in roughly 3 business days. Visa-on-arrival also exists at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, but it is restricted to certain nationalities and is risky to rely on, so the eVisa is the conservative, dependable choice. Travelers using an eVisa must enter the country specifically through Addis Ababa Bole International Airport; land borders and other airports are not valid for eVisa holders. A passport valid at least 6 months from the date of entry and a recent passport photo are required.
