Türkiye to Estonia visa requirements

Turkish ordinary passport holders need a short-stay Schengen (Type C) visa to visit Estonia for tourism. Estonia is in the Schengen Area, and Turkey is NOT eligible for ETIAS or visa-free entry. Apply in advance at the Estonian Embassy in Ankara or a VFS Global center in Turkey before traveling. Estonia is a member of the Schengen Area, and Turkish citizens holding ordinary passports are on the EU's visa-required list. They must obtain a short-stay Schengen visa (Type C) before travel for tourism or short visits. The visa permits a stay of up to 90 days within any 180-day period across the entire Schengen Area, not Estonia alone. Turkey is explicitly NOT covered by ETIAS (the European Travel Information and Authorisation System), because ETIAS applies only to visa-exempt nationalities; the European External Action Service has clarified that Turkish nationals continue to need a full Schengen visa rather than an ETIAS authorisation. Applications are lodged at the Estonian Embassy in Ankara or, more commonly, at one of the VFS Global visa application centers across Turkey. The Schengen visa fee is EUR 90 for adults, EUR 45 for children aged 6 to under 12, and free for children under 6. VFS adds a service fee of around EUR 22 when applying through a center. Standard processing is within 15 calendar days, sometimes extended to 30 or up to 60 days, so applying 3-4 weeks ahead (applications accepted up to 6 months before travel, or 9 months for some) is advisable. Required documents include a valid passport, completed application form, biometric photo, travel medical insurance of at least EUR 30,000, flight and hotel reservations, and proof of financial means.
