Türkiye to Cuba visa requirements

Turkish ordinary passport holders need a Cuba e-Visa before travel. Cuba moved all visitors to a mandatory electronic visa, retiring the old paper tourist card on 31 December 2025. Apply online at evisacuba.cu (or via the Cuban Consulate in Istanbul / Embassy in Ankara), then also complete the free D'Viajeros arrival form within 7 days before landing. As of 2026, a Turkey (TR) ordinary passport holder traveling to Cuba for tourism must obtain a single-entry electronic visa (e-Visa) in advance. Cuba historically used a paper Tourist Card (tarjeta del turista) sold by airlines and travel agents, but it launched an e-Visa system in 2024, made it the standard for most nationalities from 1 July 2025, and discontinued the physical Tourist Card from 31 December 2025. From 1 January 2026 the e-Visa is the only valid entry document for the majority of travelers, including Turkish citizens. The Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TURSAB) issued an official announcement confirming that Turkish citizens apply for the Cuba e-Visa online at evisacuba.cu, and that individual tourist visa applications can also be handled through the Consulate General of Cuba in Istanbul and the Embassy of Cuba in Ankara. The e-Visa is single entry and permits a stay of up to 90 days, extendable once locally for a further 90 days. Beyond the visa, every traveler must complete the free online D'Viajeros form (health and customs declaration) within 7 days before arrival and present the resulting QR code at the border. Travelers should also carry proof of onward/return travel, valid travel medical insurance, and a passport valid for the duration of the stay. Because Cuba is in the Caribbean and not part of the Schengen area, the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to this route. Default verdict is e-Visa: there is no reliable visa-free or visa-on-arrival channel for Turkish tourists under the current 2026 rules.
