Türkiye to Colombia visa requirements

Turkish ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa to visit Colombia for tourism. They are granted visa-free entry for up to 90 days, which can be extended once for up to another 90 days (maximum 180 days per calendar year). A free online Check-MIG pre-registration is mandatory before each entry and exit. Colombia exempts holders of ordinary Turkish passports from the visa requirement for tourism, business and other short visits. On arrival, immigration grants a Permiso de Ingreso y Permanencia (entry/stay permit) for up to 90 days at the officer's discretion. This can be extended once at a Migración Colombia office for up to a further 90 days, capped at a cumulative 180 days within any 365-day period. Colombia is in South America and is NOT part of the Schengen Area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. The only mandatory pre-travel formality is the Check-MIG online registration (free), which must be completed between 72 hours and 1 hour before each flight to or from Colombia. Travelers should hold a passport valid for the duration of stay, proof of onward/return travel, and evidence of sufficient funds and accommodation, which border officers may request. The verdict was verified against the Wikipedia Visa policy of Colombia (citing the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs decree) and Migración Colombia's official Check-MIG portal as of 2026-05-30.
