🇹🇷Türkiye🇨🇬Congo (Rep.)TR-CG Türkiye to Congo (Rep.) visa requirements
Turkish ordinary passport holders need a visa obtained in advance to visit the Republic of the Congo (Brazzaville). There is no visa-free entry, no visa on arrival, and no operational e-visa for Turkish tourists; only Turkish diplomatic passport holders are visa-exempt. Apply at a Congolese embassy or consulate before you travel, and carry proof of yellow fever vaccination. A Turkey ordinary passport holder must obtain a tourist (short-stay) visa before traveling to the Republic of the Congo. The Congolese visa policy exempts only a small list of African and Gulf nationalities (visa-free or visa-on-arrival) plus holders of Turkish and Portuguese diplomatic passports; ordinary Turkish passport holders are not on any visa-waiver or visa-on-arrival list. The Republic of the Congo announced an e-visa back in 2019 but has not rolled out a functioning online portal for general tourists, so applications are still made on paper at an embassy or consulate (the mission in France handles many applications and accepts some submissions online). Typical requirements include a passport valid at least 6 months with a blank page, application form, photos, a hotel reservation or invitation letter, a round-trip ticket, and proof of yellow fever vaccination, which is mandatory for entry. The short-stay tourist visa is commonly single-entry with stays up to roughly 30-90 days depending on the visa granted. Note that "Congo" here is the Republic of the Congo (Brazzaville, country code CG); it should not be confused with the Democratic Republic of the Congo (Kinshasa, code CD), which runs a separate e-visa system. Be conservative and apply well ahead of travel, since consular processing can take one to two weeks or longer.
