Türkiye to The Bahamas visa requirements

Turkish ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism in the Bahamas. Turkey is on the Bahamas' visa-exempt list, allowing visa-free entry for a short stay (commonly up to 90 days on arrival, extendable up to 8 months at the discretion of the Department of Immigration). You only need a valid passport, a return/onward ticket, and proof of funds. As of mid-2026, Turkey is included on the Bahamas' list of visa-exempt countries published by the Bahamas Department of Immigration. Turkish citizens traveling for tourism or a short visit can enter visa-free. No eVisa, visa-on-arrival, or pre-approval is required. At the port of entry, travelers complete an Immigration arrival (Disembarkation/Embarkation) card and are typically granted leave to enter for a short period (commonly up to 90 days), which may be extended for tourism purposes up to a total of eight months by applying to the Department of Immigration before the initial period expires. The passport must be valid for at least six months at the time of entry (passport cards are not accepted), and immigration officers may ask for a return/onward ticket, proof of sufficient funds, and accommodation details. Visa-free status covers tourism and visiting only; it does not permit work or study. The Bahamas is a Caribbean nation and is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
