Türkiye to Brunei visa requirements
Turkey ordinary passport holders can visit Brunei visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism. No visa or eVisa is needed before travel; the passport must be valid for at least 6 months and travelers should complete the free online e-Arrival Card before entry. Holders of ordinary Turkish (Türkiye) passports enjoy visa-free entry to Brunei Darussalam for short tourist visits of up to 30 days. The exemption was formalized through Brunei's Passport (Visa) (Exemption) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order, 2016 and remains in force as of 2026. Brunei's Ministry of Foreign Affairs lists Turkey in its visa-free category (Category D), meaning no visa is required to enter for tourism. To enter, travelers need a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of arrival, evidence of onward/return travel, and sufficient funds for the stay. Brunei operates a free online e-Arrival Card system; while requirements have shifted since 2024, travelers are strongly advised to complete the e-Arrival Card within 72 hours before arrival to avoid delays. There is no government visa fee for visa-free entry. Overstaying the 30-day limit is treated seriously under Brunei law, so travelers who need longer should apply for an extension or appropriate visa through the Immigration Department before the permitted stay expires.
