🇹🇷Türkiye🇧🇫Burkina FasoTR-BF Türkiye to Burkina Faso visa requirements
Turkish ordinary passport holders need a visa for Burkina Faso, and the recommended option is the official e-Visa applied for online before travel at visaburkina.bf. A Turkey (TR) ordinary passport holder traveling to Burkina Faso for tourism is NOT visa-exempt. Burkina Faso only waives the visa for Turkish DIPLOMATIC, OFFICIAL or SERVICE passport holders; ordinary passport holders must obtain a visa in advance. Since Burkina Faso launched its official e-Visa portal on 17 August 2023 (visaburkina.bf), the simplest route is the online e-Visa, which authorizes a stay of up to 90 days. Applicants choose single-entry (valid up to 6 months from issue) or multiple-entry (valid 3 months). The application is completed and paid online; an approved e-Visa is then presented on arrival. A traditional visa from a Burkina Faso diplomatic mission is also possible but slower. Critically, a valid Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is mandatory for all travelers entering Burkina Faso, and the passport must be valid at least 6 months with two blank pages. Burkina Faso is NOT in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Travelers should also note the elevated security situation in Burkina Faso and check their home government's travel advisories before booking.
