Türkiye to Argentina visa requirements

Turkish ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism in Argentina. Turkey is on Argentina's visa-exempt list, allowing stays of up to 90 days per entry, extendable in-country. As of 2026, holders of an ordinary Turkish passport can enter Argentina for tourism without a visa and stay for up to 90 days. Turkey appears on Argentina's official list of countries exempt from the tourist visa requirement, published by the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Cancillería). No eVisa, ETA, or visa-on-arrival is involved for this nationality. Argentina is in South America and is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. At the port of entry, travelers receive an entry stamp; the 90-day period can be extended once or twice (for 30 or 90 days) by applying to the Dirección Nacional de Migraciones (DNM) before the permitted stay expires, subject to a fee. Travelers must still satisfy standard entry conditions: a passport valid for at least six months with blank pages, proof of onward or return travel, evidence of sufficient funds, and accommodation/itinerary details. Note that visa-free entry applies to tourism and short visits only — work, study, residence, or other paid activities require the appropriate visa obtained in advance. Border officers retain discretion to deny entry even when documents are in order.
