Thailand to Vanuatu visa requirements

Thai ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa in advance for Vanuatu. Thailand is on Vanuatu's visa-exempted list, so you receive a free tourist visa on arrival valid for stays of up to 120 days for tourism, family visits, or business meetings. As of June 2026, holders of an ordinary Thailand passport are visa-exempt for short visits to Vanuatu. Vanuatu's Department of Immigration and Passport Services lists Thailand among its visa-exempted countries: travelers from these countries are not required to apply for a visa in advance and are issued a tourist visa on arrival at no cost. The tourist visa permits a stay of up to 120 days for tourism, visiting family, or attending business meetings/conferences, but does not permit commercial, employment, or business work activity. There is no application form, no fee, and the visa cannot be extended beyond 120 days. To be admitted, travelers must hold a passport with at least 6 months validity and ideally 2 blank pages, hold an onward or return ticket, and be able to demonstrate sufficient funds for the stay. Vanuatu is in the South Pacific and is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Because entry is granted automatically at the border with no advance process and no charge, this route is best described as visa-free for short tourist stays; the practical mechanism is a complimentary visitor permit/tourist visa issued on arrival.
