Thailand to Tajikistan visa requirements

Thailand ordinary passport holders can enter Tajikistan visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism. A 60-day e-visa (about US$30) is available as a reliable alternative for longer stays or if you want pre-approved documentation. Tajikistan grants Thailand ordinary passport holders visa-free entry for tourist and short visits of up to 30 days, reflecting Tajikistan's broad visa-waiver list which explicitly includes Thailand. For trips longer than 30 days, business needs, or travelers who prefer entering with formal pre-approval, Tajikistan also offers an electronic visa (e-visa) to Thai nationals: single-entry, valid 90 days from issue, allowing a stay of up to 60 days, for roughly US$30 (US$50 multiple-entry). Travelers planning to visit the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO), including the Pamir Highway, must obtain an additional GBAO permit regardless of visa channel; this is most easily added (about US$20) when applying for the e-visa, since the visa-free channel does not include it. Passports should be valid at least 6 months with two blank pages. Stays exceeding 10 days require registration with the OVIR (Department of Visas and Registration). Because some commercial visa-information sites route Thai travelers exclusively through the e-visa, travelers wanting maximum certainty at the border may choose the e-visa, but the official 30-day visa-free entitlement applies for short tourism.
