Thailand to Peru visa requirements

Thai ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism in Peru. They may stay visa-free for up to 90 days (within a 180-day window, max 183 days per 365 days), backed by a Thailand-Peru bilateral visa-exemption agreement. Just carry a passport valid 6+ months and a return ticket. Peru grants visa-free entry to holders of Thailand ordinary passports for tourism, recreation, and short visits. This is reinforced by a bilateral agreement covering diplomatic, official, and ordinary passports for stays not exceeding 90 days. The Embassy of Peru in Thailand confirms Thai citizens "do not require a tourist visa to enter Peru" and may stay up to 90 days. Peru's immigration authority (Superintendencia Nacional de Migraciones) generally admits visa-exempt tourists for up to 90 days within a 180-day period, with a cumulative maximum of 183 days in a 365-day period. The final length of stay is set by the immigration officer at the port of entry, who may require proof of onward/return travel, accommodation, and sufficient funds. There is no electronic travel authorization, eVisa, or visa-on-arrival requirement for short tourist stays. Peru is in South America and is NOT part of the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply. Travelers must hold a passport valid for at least six months from the date of entry. Business travel requires a separate business visa. Overstaying triggers a daily fine payable to Migraciones on departure.
