Thailand to Lebanon visa requirements

Thai ordinary passport holders need a visa before traveling to Lebanon. Thailand is NOT on Lebanon's visa-exemption or free visa-on-arrival list, so you must apply in advance at the Embassy of Lebanon in Bangkok (or a Lebanese mission abroad). As of June 2026, a Thailand ordinary passport holder requires a visa to enter Lebanon for tourism. Lebanon grants visa-free entry only to GCC nationals and Jordanians, and a free visa-on-arrival to roughly 80 mostly Western and select countries (EU, US, Canada, Australia, Japan, etc.). Thailand is not on either list, so Thai citizens must apply for an entry visa in advance through a Lebanese diplomatic mission, most conveniently the Embassy of Lebanon in Bangkok. The application requires the visa form, a passport valid at least six months (embassies often ask for more), photos, confirmed hotel booking, return ticket, bank statements and travel insurance. A critical, non-negotiable rule applies to all travelers: any Israeli stamp, visa or seal in the passport, or evidence of travel to Israel, results in refused entry. Lebanon is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Given the security situation, travelers should also check their own government's travel advisory before booking.
